Makes light work of weighty matters.

Depending on requirements, the Transporter Delivery van will work for you as a short wheelbase version with normal or medium high roof, or as a long wheelbase model with normal, medium high or high roof. Four weight categories (gross vehicle weights of 2.6 t, 2.8 t, 3.0 t and 3.2 t), payloads of approx. 0.8 t, 1.0 t, 1.2 t to 1.4 t and load compartment volumes of approx. 5.8 m3 to 9.3 m3 are offered to ensure that the version you need is available.ensure that the version you need is available.

The greatest Transporter of all time.

Higher, longer, further: the Transporter Delivery van with long wheelbase and high roof offers more load space than any other with a load compartment volume of 9.3 m3. This is matched by gross vehicle weights of 2.8 t, 3.0 t or 3.2 t. The interior dimensions are equally impressive: with a max. length of 2,943 mm and max. height of 1,940 mm you can stand upright in the load compartment without continually bumping your head. The maximum payload is up to 1.4 t for the short wheelbase version with normal roof. Another convenient option offered by Volkswagen for high roof models is the roof-high sliding door (see illustration) which takes the effort out of loading and unloading large items. The roof-high rear wing doors can be supplied with an opening angle of 250°.

How to combine business and pleasure.

What are your specific requirements? The Transporter Kombi is ready to fulfil them. A high degree of flexibility is ensured by a modular system, available as an option, which enables the 3-seater bench seat to be secured in any of the seating rows – depending on how much additional load space you require. Right from the short wheelbase version there is room for up to nine people. The Kombi with long wheelbase offers up to nine seats – depending on the seating layout, there is either plenty of stowage space combined with two rows of seats in the passenger compartment and a 2-seater front passenger bench seat; or plenty of freedom of movement for passengers with three rows of seats in the passenger compartment and a single front passenger seat. You can have additional comfort and security at the touch of a button with central locking plus radio wave control which is available as an option. Side panel trim in the passenger compartment, and a headlining in the cab are standard. The efficient heating and ventilation system has a separate heat exchanger so that there is always a good atmosphere during the journey. An air conditioner at front and rear can be supplied as an extra. On medium high roof and high roof versions of the Transporter, the option of an air conditioner is supplied as provision for an air conditioner.
